Granite
100% natural, extremely hard and heat resistant. No two slabs are alike, and book-matched sets are available. Needs periodic sealing and is generally less expensive than quartz.

Engineered from roughly 95% ground natural quartz and 5% polymer resin. Non-porous, low maintenance, with consistent repeatable patterns. Scratches more easily than granite.

Premium and timeless. Best for bathrooms, accent areas and entertaining spaces. Reacts poorly to harsh chemicals, so it is used less in kitchens.
