What we do
A wall of stone, not a strip
A full-height backsplash turns the wall behind your counter into a continuous stone surface, running from the counter up to the upper cabinets or the hood. No grout lines, no tile joints, just one slab wrapping the wall.
We template every inch of the wall after the contract is signed, capturing every outlet, switch, range, and hood edge. Then we cut and polish the stone in our own Hopkinton shop. Installation happens in a single day, and you sign off before the crew leaves.

Matching the countertop
A full-height backsplash from the same slab as the counter creates a continuous, wrapped look. We source both from the same block when possible.
Seam placement
On a full wall, seams are unavoidable. We plan them to follow the veining and land behind the range or at cabinet breaks where they're least visible.
Outlet and switch cutouts
We template every outlet and switch on the wall, so the cutouts are precise and the plates sit flush against the stone.
Range and hood clearance
The backsplash needs to fit around the range, the hood, and any cabinetry. We template all of it so the stone lands clean against every edge.
