What it is
Stone pulled straight from the ground
Granite is an igneous rock formed deep underground under heat and pressure. That origin is what makes it so hard and heat resistant. Every slab is a slice of that natural process, which means the pattern, color and movement are unique to your piece.
Because it's 100% natural, you pick the actual slab at our shop — not a sample that approximates it. Book-matched sets are available for islands where you want the veining to mirror across a seam.

Best uses
Where granite works (and where it doesn't)
Granite is at its best in kitchens, on islands, and in outdoor kitchens where heat and durability matter most. Its hardness and heat resistance make it the go-to for cooks who actually use their counters.
It works in bathrooms too, though some lighter or more porous colors need more attentive sealing in a wet environment. For a bathroom where you want a softer, more elegant look with less maintenance, marble or quartz may serve you better.
Care and maintenance
Simple, but not zero
Wipe up spills with soap and water. Reseal periodically — we'll tell you the right interval for your specific slab. Avoid harsh chemicals and acidic cleaners, which can dull the polish over time.
Use a cutting board to protect your knives (granite is harder than steel and will dull them) and a trivet for extreme heat. That's the whole routine.
